Next Level Fusion
The work done by Next Level Fusion and Tina Cavicchio seeks to empower, uplift, and celebrate individual and collective diversity of identity through dance.
In the Boston-area dance scene, as well as nationally and internationally, Next Level Fusion aims to build awareness of LGBTQIA+ discrimination, expand inclusive language, celebrate queer identities, emphasize consent and connection in social dance, promote body positivity, honor historical roots of dance, and create communities of care, connection, and joy for folks of all identities.
TINA CAVICCHIO:
Founder & Director
Tina Cavicchio (she/her & they/them) is the founder and director of Next Level Fusion Dance Company.
Tina is an international dance artist who is known for and sought after for her social dancing, effective and empowering teaching methodology, creative fusion choreography, and inspirational story telling through dance. Having trained in wide variety of dance styles, including Afro-latin, street, ballet, jazz, hip hop, waacking, and other codified dance techniques, she has taught at dance congresses around the world and choreographed for multiple teams, performances, and college showcases.
As a queer female lead, follow, switch, and solo dancer, Tina has become a major advocate for individual empowerment and expression around the world. Her goal as a teacher is to challenge her students to push past limitations, realize their full potential dancers, and feel empowered as their unique and whole selves.
